Graffito Artists' Book Class

Kathy and I signed up to take Kelly Kilmer's Graffito Artists' Book class, held at Stamper's Warehouse today. Trouble is, last night I realized that my fatigue is just too much right now and I couldn't handle several hours of class. While it was too late to cancel, we called to let everyone know we wouldn't be there. Here's what we missed:

Looking for something new & fresh? In this class, we will learn sgraffio, new and unusual layering techniques, decollage, collage, stenciling, sticker art, graffiti and more. Walk away with not only a ton of new techniques and ideas, a detailed handout, also you will walk out with a fresh, artsy mini journal that is totally unique to you busting at the seams with art completed in class, but you also will leave class with a sense of newfound freedom in your artwork & your own ability as an artist.

Doesn't that sound cool? And Kelly is a great teacher; we've taken a number of classes from her over the years.

We stopped by the shop this afternoon for a brief visit. Kelly gave us the materials from class and - she's so wonderful - a sample to guide us. She was very generous with her time and supplies. I can't wait until she comes back (she's a guest instructor) so we can take a class again. Kelly teaches all over, so if you see a class that she's teaching, sign up!
