My Latest Crush, in 100% Cotton

For some reason, I've been hunting down retro-style fabric on the Internet today. I ended up finding a Michael Miller print on which I have an instantaneous, mad crush.

Take a look:

Swirly fabric print in turquoise, white, and green

Is that fabulous or what? Mon dieu! I have no idea what I'd use it for, but I crave that fabric. The swirls are feminine, flirty, and just a little bit irresponsible. The peppy shade of turquoise says wake up, we're about to have fun! Together, the design and the color is like an impromptu party in a print, with lots of free flowing ginger ale. Or, something like that.

I don't know what I would do with it. Cover a book? Make a tote bag? Lay it out on the floor and roll naked up on it?

Unfortunately, I can't justify the shipping costs for just a yard or two of material.

Maybe I'll find it locally, at a quilt shop or something. I just hope it's not like the Aloha Girls fabric I crushed on a couple of years ago...now it's discontinued and goes for big bucks on eBay. If I want this one, I better hunt it down before too much time passes.
