Ordering Up a Passel of Jim-Jams
I've needed new jim-jams for a while now. The weather is colder and I need something to snuggle up in - something not ratty and stained from stuff relating to surgery. Ew.
Today, though, I realized in a panic that Spring Preview season is just around the corner, at least it is in the women's apparel mail order catalogs. If you prefer fall/winter wardrobes like I do, spring preview (which starts in December, shockingly enough!) is a horrible time. If there is something you didn't order from the fall collection, you may not be able to get it anymore. Black pants? Long-sleeved knit tops? Good LUCK. You'd think no one had a professional job where you wear that stuff year-round!
But back to the jim-jams. I realized that now is the time when pajamas are often put on clearance - right before the time when you find out you need to order some. I started searching the online catalogs of the companies I buy from, and sure enough, lots of jim-jams were sold out. Oh no! Finally, though, I struck pay-dirt and found some good, basic pajamas (on clearance, as predicted) and I placed my order quick like a bunny. WHEW!
Speaking of bunnies, my bunny slippers recently gave up the ghost. I wore them a lot, and a number of cats found them interesting to attack. Maybe I should get some bunny slippers, too! Here are some cute bunny slippers that I'm considering.
Can you tell I love everything related to jim-jams? Yeah.
