Weekend Round-Up
There is cat snot on the plasma TV. We can't have nice things.
Poor Lola continues to be sneezy, with her eye watering constantly. I think the pricey prescription eye drops have helped, though, just because she is not squinting like she did before. It still waters but I think it doesn't hurt so much. At least, I hope not!
Yesterday and Friday night, Kathy and I were at the Kelly Kilmer classes at Stamper's Warehouse. These were collage classes with an emphasis on exploring composition and design. Usually I hate the work I do in class, but this time, I'm okay with it. Kelly gives a lot of extra exercises in the handouts to try at home, so I think we're going to keep working with them to see what we can come up with. I'll post pictures later, when I have my computer up and working with the scanner.
After a full day of classes (with just enough time in between to drive home to give Lola eyedrops) we went out to dinner with Kelly, Georgia, and Terrece. (Terrece and Georgia own Stamper's Warehouse.) I'm really glad that we had a very droll server, because anyone else wouldn't have known what to do with a table of five women who can't stop laughing hysterically. We told funny stories until our chests hurt from laughter. For dessert, Terrece made Kelly order the Viagra Cake. Yeah, it's really the Niagara Falls cake, which gives you an idea of how giggly we became. I know Kelly has another five-hour class today before driving back to Los Angeles - I hope we didn't tire her out too much!
On the drive home, my chest hurt so much that I thought something was wrong with me. Isn't that funny? I think we all needed an evening like that!
My computer came back from repair on Friday evening; thank goodness UPS arrived before we left, because I had to sign for it. I'm putting the extra hard drives back in and re-ordering the drive letter assignments, and then it looks like everything is back to normal. Thank the gods!
